We had lunch here after we visiting Moaning cave nearby. We got there around 12pm and were seated right away. The service was friendly but it took a while for our food to come out as it was pretty crowded. - pancake: super delicious! We got 2 big pancakes. They were fluffy, soft, and perfectly cooked. - Denver omelette: small portion for the price but the taste was good. The egg was well seasoned & fluffy.

Cute little diner with very friendly staff. Come hungry because their portions are MASSIVE! The chicken fried steak could probably feed 2 people, or in my case 2 separate meals. It was crispy and they don't skimp on the gravy! It was a little overkill to also get biscuits n gravy on the side BUT their biscuits are such flakey, buttery, goodness! Get the biscuits!

The food here felt like home... it was great. The service was great also! The ambiance was simple but rustic. Cute! Prices were the usual expensive fare. One waitress wore a T-shirt that said 'God knows if you don't tip'. Although I'm sure it was meant to be funny, the tipping in this state has gotten ridiculous! The expectation for someone to tip is unrealistic. Tips are for good/great service! Not for drive up coffee places or waitresses that ignore you. The waitresses here WERE great, so we of course were generous, but please stop with the entitled expectations! My opinion- I said it. ‍

What a cute little diner! I was in town with friends from the area and they knew exactly where to take me when I woke up starving on a Saturday morning. We arrived around 11am and were immediately greeted by a friendly server, brought out waters, and given menus. Our entire group ordered either a bloody Mary or a mimosa to start. I went with the bloody Mary and it definitely hit the spot. It could have been my whole meal. But alas I had to get more so I was ready to go for a hike later on that day. I actually ended up ordering from the kids menu, simply because it was cheaper than going a la carte. I got one egg over medium, some extra crispy hashbrowns, and sourdough toast. It came with either bacon or sausage but I skipped on that. My egg was a little overcooked but it still did the trick and the hashbrowns were exactly what I was craving. The space itself is definitely western themed with some booths having a canvass wagon cover over them - super festive! There's also all sorts of traffic signs. Overall it had an old school feel which was fun. My friends and I all left satisfied. I'd definitely give them a visit if I ever find myself back in Murphys.

I simply loved my garden omelette! The country potatoes too were delicious and I wished there were more on my plate. The portions were just about right-sized; it left me wanting just that little bit more but not hungry. The pancakes were very soft and fluffy and the kiddo ate it all up. I had a bite and it was bouncy and pretty good. I was told that the carne asada however was just ok, and that the meat tasted more like hamburger meat. I did like the bite of scrambled eggs I pilfered but the accompanying side of biscuit and gravy was ok. The lady that was multitasking did a great job of keeping all the waiting patrons informed that she was the only one working the tables *and* the front desk today. One local gentleman was super kind enough to pitch in and helped clean up all the tables! That really helped get things moving! The interior 'decor' was pretty spartan and open with a huge Texaco retro gas pump smack dab in your face as you enter. My one takeaway was that the eggs were just delicious!!! I don't know what it was about the eggs. It simply tasted way better than other eggs -- were they locally sourced eggs, or were my taste-buds playing tricks on me? Oh the eggs.
